Zion Lutheran School and Preschool     August
Zion Lutheran School and Preschool is now accepting applications for enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year. Zion is fully accredited with the State of South Dakota and preschool (3-5 year olds) offers a small class size for full day kindergarten and grade one through 5. The Artists of the Black Hills      Aug-Sept.
The Artists of the Black Hills is a non-profit arts organization with over 35 nationally recognized (and local!) artists. Their annual exhibition is at the Dahl in Rapid City and there is a free artist reception on Friday, June 30 from 5-7PM. The gallery showing runs from June 30 - September 9. The Spearfish Farmer's Market is on Saturday throughout summer and fall, from 9-12pm starting June 3rd through October at Brady Park, corner of Grant Street and Meier Avenue in Spearfish. Hot Shots Youth Dance Team is holding a dance camp for boys and girls ages 4 and up. Hill City Young Life will be holding an Archery tournament fundraiser on Saturday, 08/26. Registration and breakfast start at 8am and the shoot starts at 9:15 until 12:30pm. Rapid City Area School District 51/4     09/08
The Rapid City Area School District will offer free developmental Kindergarten Screenings at Jefferson School. This will be for children who missed the screenings at their home school. Developmental screenings check a child’s development in the areas of language, articulation, concept development, hearing, vision and motor skills.
