Rapid City Public Library                                                                         June
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-10am, children can enjoy Little Owl Tuesdays (preschoolers) and Baby Bumblebee Thursdays (age birth-3 years) at the Rapid City downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs). Wednesdays we have Summer Story Time for children of all ages, 9:30-10am at the north partner Library in General Beadle Elementary School (10 Van Buren Street).

‘Alpha’ is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith at Belle Fourche United Methodist Church starting Sunday, July 9th from 5-7pm. No charge and there will be food, talk and discussion. The Artists of the Black Hills                                                                   June-Sept.
The Artists of the Black Hills is a non-profit arts organization with over 35 nationally recognized (and local!) artists. Their annual exhibition is at the Dahl in Rapid City and there is a free artist reception on Friday, June 30 from 5-7PM. The gallery showing runs from June 30 - September 9. On Friday June 23rd Storybook Island and Leadership Rapid City 2015 will be doing a “Character 5K Run/Walk.” At 4:30pm is the race registration, music, pictures with characters of Storybook; 6pm is the race time and 7pm is Hot Dog Feed. Black Hills Moonwalk                                                                                07/08
Black Hills Moonwalk is holding a Moon Walk on July 8th, Saturday night close to the official full moon and begins at 7pm. This will last from 1-2 hours and the walk is usually an average of 1 mile round trip. This walk is located in the southern Black Hills west of Custer, SD. Black Hills Works will host its annual golf tournament on Monday, July 10th from 11-6pm at Arrowhead Country Club, 3675 Sheridan Lake Rd, Rapid City. Proceeds from this year’s Golf FORE a Cause will go toward upgrading facilities where adults with disabilities live, work and play.
